Bruised and Lovingly Refashioned by The Master, Carmen Hebert is a retired career administrative professional from Shell Oil with over 42 years of service. An extraordinary administrator, Carmen is currently working with Turning Point Faith Ministries, as an Executive Assistant to Pastor Roscoe Hilliard. She assists with communications, projects and a variety of administrative duties. Prior to that, she worked at Shell Oil Company in Deer Park, Texas in many administrative, customer services, etc. roles. She describes some of her most compelling work experiences as being the Lead Word Processing Administrator for one of the very first network-type word processing systems where she was responsible for installation of the word processors, working along with the cabling contractor, for training the users, and was also responsible for administering the help desk for troubleshooting purposes. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, Baytown, Texas, and completed some college coursework at Lee College, Baytown, Texas. Carmen is currently working on her first book sharing her life’s walk and successful work overcoming a 12-year substance abuse addiction to crack cocaine. In her journey, Carmen has learned to trust God and live destiny free of the devastating crutches and pitfalls that women young and old can fall into taking shortcuts on their way to their breakthrough.
