As a “Retired Educator” of more than 45 years, Gloria “Jean” served in the field of education as a classroom teacher in grades K- 12, team leader, curriculum specialist and principal in Florida, Michigan and Alabama, and retired November 2010 from the Montgomery Public Schools as the Title I Parental Involvement Coordinator in Montgomery, Alabama.



Gloria Jean is the CEO, Founder and Executive Director of a nonprofit organization, SKIP, Inc. Community Resource Services, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) tax deductible organization since 1976 in Florida. SKIP is an acronym for “Save Kids of Incarcerated Parents”. The mission is to provide supportive services to children of prisoners and their caregivers, and to increase public awareness of the underlying problems of these children as victims. Our goal is to help STOP the cycle of incarceration by providing educational and enrichment programs and projects. We are committed to their future! We need your Help! Join us in making a difference.
