At Resurrection Church, she is an active Minister of the Gospel, serving in the Women’s Ministry, Magnification Ministry, and Mission Ministry.

An inspiring author, Melissa published her first book, No More Fear, Becoming I Am in 2022 after completing a 9-month birthing and delivery bootcamp called Birth Your Brilliance™ created by Dr. Merle Ray of Houston, Texas for Dr. Cassandra Scott Ministries. Through the one-on-one coaching and group mentoring offered by Dr. Scott and Dr. Ray in the program, Melissa was empowered to allow God to continue the work that He had already begun to walk Melissa out of the shadows of fear to becoming I AM.
