Darcia L. Smith is a native of the windy city, Chicago. She is an awesome loving mother and grandmother, always putting family first.

Darcia accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at the age of nine, but has been singing since the age of three, where she traveled with her mother, and the Arlester Washington Community Choir. She has sung with several recording artists, some on Tyscotts label; but praise and worship is where she lives. Her voice helps to set the atmosphere for worship and for the presence of the Lord to reign.

On December 31, 2006 in a New Year’s Eve service, at the stroke of midnight, Darcia accepted her call into the ministry. She is a licensed Evangelist and has her Bachelors from the Rhema Institute of Biblical Studies. Her areas of service have been: Praise Team, Choir, Sign Language Ministry, Singles Ministry, Drama Ministry, Christian Education, and Ministerial Alliance.

Darcia has a pure and sincere heart, and a real love for God’s people. She has a joy that’s infectious; people are inclined to ask her why she’s so happy, and after they spend time getting to know her, they often accept Jesus Christ as their Savior. Darcia is a dynamic all loving Christian who inspires all she meets, and so much more.
