Daughter of the Most High God, Wife, Mother, Veteran Staff Sergeant of the United States Air Force, Teressa Simmons is an accomplished and dedicated Deacon at New Creation Christian Fellowship (NCCF) (San Antonio, Texas, USA) under the leadership of Senior Pastor, Bishop David M. Copeland and Pastor Claudette A. Copeland (Emerita). She has been a member of NCCF since 2008 and serves on the Pastor’s Aid Team, Worship Council, Sisterhood, NCCF Prison Fellowship and Corporate Intercessory Prayer Team. An aspiring minister in training and college student online at Capella University studying to earn a Pre-Counseling Degree, Teressa’s passion is to be an authentic representation of Christ Jesus’ love and encouragement in her home, community, and the world. With the intention of helping people to experience a deep and loving relationship with Christ through God’s word, prayer, and relationship with others, Teressa also volunteers at University Health Systems in San Antonio, Texas.

Honorably discharged from the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1992 as a Staff Sergeant with seven years of service, Teressa also worked as a Personnel Specialist in the area of Customer Service for the Base Military Personnel Facility, and has been awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal, Air Force Humanitarian Service Medal, Nomination for Deputy Commander of Maintenance Award, and the Distinguished Graduate Award of the Noncommissioned Officer Academy.

She is the wife of Raphael Simmons and mother of four adult children and one teenager.
